Our trip on the Royal Clipper in 2025 was so magnificent that we immediately signed up for this one in 2027! The 2027 rates and itinerary are now published for the trip being run by Maxine Jensen of Alpine Adventures (who ran our last trip) and promoted by the Pirates of the Treasure Coast!
The preliminary draft for this 10 night trip shows this trip departing from Malta on October 26th, 2027 sailing on the Royal Clipper from Malta to Spain, Balearics and Portugal! There are 14 Balcony Cabins (they are fabulous and always book first…although there isn’t a bad cabin on the ship). The cruise line is “Star Clippers,” but our ship is the flagship of their fleet, the “Royal Clipper.”

SAILING PACKAGE INCLUDES: The Royal Clipper is a unique small-ship cruise experience—much closer to sailing on a private yacht or classic tall ship than a modern cruise liner. The Royal Clipper is a five-masted, square-rigged clipper ship inspired by 19th-century sailing vessels but built with modern comforts. It carries approximately 220 passengers, which creates a very intimate, boutique atmosphere. Payment Plan
You can use the same booking number (above) to pay whatever monthly or periodic amount that you want to pay. You will received a receipt after each payment rom Alpine Adventures Accounting Team. Final payment is due 130 days prior to departure. Updated fees will be made available once they are posted.
Cancellation Policy
One can move your deposit to another trip with Alpine Adventures within a year of the scheduled departure date outside of 140 days prior to trip departure. Less than 140 days prior to departure there is a 100% non-refundable deposit or…if you can find a replacement the name change can be processed for only $50 up to 30 days prior to departure.
OF COURSE…the Pirates of the Treasure Coast always recommends trip insurance (Allianz, Faye, Travel Guard, etc.) for an absolute refund guarantee. Explore the many options with each company.
