Our trip on the Royal Clipper in 2025 was so magnificent that we immediately signed up for this one in 2027! The 2027 rates and itinerary are now published for the trip being run by Maxine Jensen of Alpine Adventures (who ran our last trip) and promoted by the Pirates of the Treasure Coast!
The preliminary draft for this 10 night trip shows this trip departing from Malta on October 26th, 2027 sailing on the Royal Clipper from Malta to Spain, Balearics and Portugal! There are 14 Balcony Cabins (they are fabulous and always book first…although there isn’t a bad cabin on the ship).
How To Reserve a Spot
Reserving a Balcony Cabin (Cat1) requires an $800 deposit per person. It can be made by ACH to:

For Category 2-6 cabins there is a required deposit of $400. Maxine will need
- Names as they appear on your passport
- Date of Birth
- Email Address
- Category cabin type

Payment Plan
You can use the same booking number (above) to pay whatever monthly or periodic amount that you want to pay. You will received a receipt after each payment rom Alpine Adventures Accounting Team. Final payment is due 130 days prior to departure. Updated fees will be made available once they are posted.
Cancellation Policy
One can move your deposit to another trip with Alpine Adventures within a year of the scheduled departure date outside of 140 days prior to trip departure. Less than 140 days prior to departure there is a 100% non-refundable deposit or…if you can find a replacement the name change can be processed for only $50 up to 30 days prior to departure.
OF COURSE…the Pirates of the Treasure Coast always recommends trip insurance (Allianz, Faye, Travel Guard, etc.) for an absolute refund guarantee. Explore the many options with each company.
2027 Pricing
Finally – 2027 pricing is available and we can officially start booking. This is not out publicly yet but will be soon – so for anyone wanting a balcony they need to book quickly.

Owners Cabin $7920 per person (largest cabin on the ship – no balcony – separate entertaining space, private bedroom
Balcony Deluxe Cabin $6360 per person (these are limited – only 14 total and they sell out first)
Cat 1 $4990 per person (the first choice of most people)
Cat 2 $4270 per person
Cat 3 $4070 per person
Cat 4 $3860 per person
Cat 5 $3390 per person
Cat 6 $3240 per person
Port Charges $440 per person
Single cabins – available on request – typically add 50% cabin fare for single supplement (limited availability)
